Description
Dunmahon Castle is situated on a rocky outcrop above the Funshion river.
The castle is a ruined square tower house hidden amongst trees and overgrown by foliage. It is not visible from the nearby road.
History
It is believed that the castle was built before 1541 and occupied by the O'Hennessy family.
